Forkis Apartments - Vathy (Ithaca)

The location is absolutely stunning, with jaw-dropping views of the beautiful bay. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The beach access was perfect, with clear waters and a relaxing atmosphere. The short walk into town was easy and offered plenty of shops and tavernas. The well-appointed studio had everything we needed, including free parking and Wi-Fi. We loved our stay and are already planning our next visit!

It has neat and romantic rooms and PERFECTLY COMFORTABLE location just off quiet beach where cafe, shaded seating and loungers all provide for having a wonderful time, an enclosed bay overlooking the main hilltop, and Vathi downtown where one can find restaurants and shopping. The bed is very clean. It opens out onto the sea. I thoroughly enjoyed the place.

Great beach with sunbeds, a snack bar, and everything I need to make my stay even better. Surrounded by an olive grove that reaches the sea. Each apartment has a dining area and seating space with a satellite TV and DVD player.

Can't think of anything, it was a flawless experience. Oh wait, maybe the fact that unicorns were not roaming around the property.

The staff here is incredibly nice and very helpful, and the views over Dexa bay are amazing; we would definitely come back because our experience was really great.

We had a wonderful stay at Forkis Apartments and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The location was great, with a beautiful beach and amazing views just a short walk away. The studio was spacious and clean, providing us with the comfort we needed. The friendly hosts made us feel at home and the hotel was well-maintained despite the recent storm. We enjoyed exploring the charming town of Vathy, only a 20-minute walk from the apartment. Already planning our next visit! I highly recommend this hotel for a nice stay on this beautiful island.

Great price and location, helpful staff, lovely beach, clear water. 15-min walk to capital with shops and tavernas nearby. Neat room, good space, facilities, sensational view. Pebble beach for swimming and snorkelling, quieter than others. 20-min walk to town with parking available. Lovely people, cosy studio with kitchenette and balcony. Nice bar/cafe, friendly service.

We had an exceptional stay at the apartments near the breathtaking Dexa Beach. The location was perfect, with the beach right in front of us. The room was neat and comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The staff was really nice and helpful, always ready to assist us. We enjoyed daily room service and the unparalleled view of Dexa Bay. The apartment had all the facilities we needed and the hosts were attentive and unobtrusive.

The only minor downside was the difficulty in finding parking near the apartment.

The decoration of the hotel exudes a charming and traditional ambiance, reminiscent of the beauty of Ithaca. The general areas are well-maintained and accessible for senior people like me, making it easy to navigate and enjoy the surroundings. The children working there were always attentive and accommodating, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

A small suggestion for a better vacation for senior people would be to have grab bars or shelves in the bathroom to conveniently store toiletries.

We got great value for our money at Forkis Apartments. The room was simple but cozy, with a small kitchenette which was perfect for making our own breakfast. The balcony offered an amazing view of the sea, and we loved being just a stone's throw away from the beach and the nice bar/cafe where we enjoyed delicious dishes for lunch.

The view from Forkis Apartments was unparalleled, with stunning views over Dexa bay. Being so close to Dexa beach, we could easily enjoy swimming and exercise in the olive grove right in front of our accommodation. the hosts were polite, attentive, and struck the perfect balance between being available and unobtrusive. the daily room service was unexpected and helpful, adding to the overall convenience of our stay. The location of the property, away from the bustling city of Vathy, provided a unique and peaceful vacation experience. Cons: Everything exceeded my expectations and fulfilled all my needs and wants. 🌟.
